Some of the Things we did this Christmas.....

Ate at one of our families favorite places for lunch

Saw this movie on Christmas Eve - don't recommend it.
Watched three exciting Kings games

Took Erin to In N Out on the way home from the airport

Saw this movie the day after Christmas - the kids loved it

Went to the temple to do a baptism (my Dad) - Who is that little lady in between those two handsome men. Looks like Amy Roloff from Little People Big World!!
Thank you to Justin & Jordan for being worthy to perform the ordinances for my Dad. It was such a special experience for me and now I can't wait to do the work for many more of my ancestors who are waiting....

Bought a new phone on Christmas Eve. My old one died. It is not fancy, but it works.

Got this new camera from my kids. Mine is pink!
And these new pots and pans. I love them!

AND NOW FOR SOME POST CHRISTMAS STUFF......

My pathetic Christmas tree just before I took it to the garage

The steals I got from TARGET at the 75% off after Christmas sale. All this for $12!

My new purse I bought on the day after Christmas shopping spree

Along with these new pillows for my couch

I have so much trash that it will take at least a month to get rid of it all. I usually only take my trash out once of month!

This ends Christmas 2009. It was great to spend so much time with my kids and grandkids. I loved every minute of it! And now it is so quiet and lonely around here...

Jordan turns 25!

I cannot believe that is was 25 years ago that I was frantically running around trying to get everything done for Christmas when I went into labor and still kept baking and wrapping until I just could not handle the pain anymore. By the time we got to the hospital I was dialated to 9 and was ready to push. Jordan was born in the labor room because they didn't have time to prep me for the delivery room. It was quite an adventure! We were very surprised and excited to have a baby boy (in those days we were not able to determine whether it was a boy or girl - we just assumed we were having another girl) He was a big (8 lbs 13 oz) healthy boy and we were all thrilled to welcome him into our family!!

As you can tell from all these pictures Jordan is into sports (like you didn't already know that!) The only toy he ever really wanted to play with from the time he was very small was a ball - any kind of ball. The first thing the doctor said when he was born to his Dad was "Now you have someone to watch football with" And a sports enthusiast was born! It was so much fun going to all of Jordan's many sporting events over the years. We always knew what we would be doing every Saturday. I have been to hundreds of games and practices and never got tired of them.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

I always LOVE looking at pictures of my kids when they were growing up. Christmas always brings back such wonderful memories for me. Here are a few memories I cherish with my children at Christmastime...

Taking them to the mall to see Santa
Cutting down a Christmas tree
Making sugar cookies
School Christmas programs
Ward Christmas parties
Santa Store at school
Driving around to look at lights
Christmas sweatshirts
Christmas specials on TV
Going to the latest Disney movie on Christmas Eve
Candlelight Christmas Eve dinners
Peppermint Ice Cream Brownie Sundaes
Disney ornaments on the tree (this year will be the last one for that)
Opening one gift on Christmas Eve
New Christmas Church clothes

Sweet little girls 1983

Jordan 1987

Megan & Shauna 1983 - not the best quality but I still think it's adorable!

Me & my girls - This is a classic 80's photo - Check out my perm & Erin's cool bangs. Don't you just love the homemade sweatshirts? They even had real bells sewn them.

Visions of Sugar Plums....

If you ever asked my sweet Dad what he wanted for Christmas, Birthday, Father's Day, etc., he would always say WORLD PEACE. I would wish for that too, but a few of these things are a little more realistic... I can dream!

The Sacramento Temple (I like the rectangle one better but I couldn't find a picture of it.

I have not had new pots and pans for 30 years! I think is about time I get some new ones. I don't cook that much anymore, but when I do it sure would be nice to have some pans that weren't all scratched up!
New pillows for my couch. I want more than one, but you get the idea.
I have a really ugly computer desk that is a hand me down and it would be nice to have a new one.
My digital camera just decided to stop working last week and I am really bummed so this will probably be the first thing I will save up for.

I have not had a bed since I got rid of the famous waterbed about ten years ago. I don't even really need the whole bed, just a headboard would be nice. I need to go garage saleing for one I think. This is from Crate and Barrel and I really like it!

(Stay tuned for some Christmas memories from the past - as soon as I get the pictures scanned I will put them up)
