March already?

Time sure does fly by... only 10 months to go in my retirement countdown.  Most of the time I am so excited about the fact that I won't have to go to work anymore and part of me is scared for the decisions and changes I will have to make. 

Here are just a few exciting things going on in the month of March (at least for me)

My favorite fast food stop opening this month

Love this place.  Right now there are only two in the Sacramento area and soon there will be one in Folsom!  Love their grilled chicken sandwich and waffle cut fries!!  Yum

A New store in Folsom (less than 5 minutes from me)

I hear this is a fun place to shop with great deals and fresh delicious assortments of fresh produce, baked goods and prepared meals.  Looking forward to a new place to shop.  Raleys is a great store but it doesn't meet my shopping needs.

JURY DUTY (more annoying than exciting)

Every 2 years like clockwork I have been getting a jury summons.  I have always been in the first group and always had to appear.  Why is that?  Everyone I know never has to report or only reports for a few hours.  Noooo not me, I go down to the courthouse bright and early on Monday morning and sit for hours waiting for my name to call.  I always end up in the jury box being interrogated with my palms sweating and my stomach in knots.  I have served on two jurys and have been dismissed from many.  I hope this time, I will be excused early and can go to work before noon.  Ha - wishful thinking!

(
